How can you improve lifestyle and wellness? We are all aware that exercise, when coupled with a sensible and healthy eating approach, is good for our health. What is less well considered is how beneficial exercise is for us psychologically and this, of course, is a key component of our overall wellness.

Regular exercisers comment that it makes them feel less anxious, reducing the effects of stress, generating a feeling of well-being & positive mood. So, clearly then, regular exercise is a really good way to improve lifestyle and wellness. Why is this...?

Body-Image and Self-Esteem

Happiness and confidence are often linked to the way we look and feel about ourselves. We all hold an internal view of ourselves - our body-image and self-esteem is very closely related to how negative or positive that internal view of ourselves is.

Exercise helps us get into shape and to wear the type of clothes which we feel suits us best and, as it makes us healthier, it reduces or even eliminates stress.
